What is PilaToes®?

PilaToes® = Effective foot training that goes far beyond the usual and well-known foot gymnastics exercises.
pilates = Means inclusion of the Pilates training method, the Pilates principles and some Pilates devices, eg foot corrector and toe exerciser. And in the studio, too, the large devices: Reformer, Cadillac and Wunda Chair.
training = No therapy, but sport! PilaToes ® works as movement training! Holistic, suitable for everyday use, uncomplicated!
And above all for at home!
foot deformities = It generally improves foot fitness. This can have a positive effect on foot malpositions such as hallux valgus, heel spurs or flat feet.
Why foot training at all?
foot problems in different forms join the most common civilization diseases a. Most complaints are acquired over the course of life. You probably know people in your family, circle of friends or acquaintances who have problems with their feet. Perhaps you are one of those affected? Foot malpositions and the resulting complaints are very common in our society! Various statistics from different sources speak of numbers such as: 70% of schoolchildren and young people already have foot deformities. Two out of three people in Germany will suffer from foot problems in the course of their lives.
German Medical Journal 2021: Hallux valgus has a prevalence of 23% in those aged 18-65 and 35% in those aged 65 and over. On the other hand, a heel spur occurs in about 10% of the population.
Foot exercises are often recommended as part of a conservative treatment method. However, with the addition that at best pain symptoms can be alleviated but no permanent healing can be achieved.
However, we see the latter differently!
From our more than 20 years of experience we can say that sport always works! Sport always brings about change! If it is purposeful and appropriate, it will have a positive effect. the opposite accordingly. Similar to back training for back problems PilaToes® Foot exercises for foot problems.
